What is male pattern hair loss?

Male pattern hair loss is a common condition in which men experience thinning of thehair on the scalp, often resulting in a receding hairline and/or balding on the top of thehead. This condition is thought to be caused by a combination of genetic factors and aparticular hormone, DHT (dihydrotestosterone).

I am taking Propecia 5mg for my hair loss. I started my 1st week of taking it and it has worked for me and for months now, and I am on it. The side effects have included stomach issues, dryness of the mouth, headaches and dizziness, I am getting very tired of swallowing pills. I have been told that Propecia can cause hair loss as well and I was told that was the case. I have been taking Propecia for about 4 months and have not had any side effects. Any suggestions? I have been taking it for 1 month and I have seen the side effects of it and I know Propecia does not work for all people. I am still taking Propecia but it doesn't seem to work for me. I will talk to my doctor for further advice. Thanks

Why Am I Ovulating on Propecia?

I was given a prescription for Propecia and it worked wonders for me. I took it for six months and my mood improved tremendously. The only side effect I experienced was the headaches and flushing that are common with this drug. I've been using this for more than a year now, and it was my first prescription for Propecia. It didn't work, so I gave it to my doctor and he prescribed it for me. He prescribed it to me after he found out I'm pregnant, but I'm trying to get pregnant now because it works great for me. I am so glad I found this information. I'm not trying to give up hope that Propecia will help my condition, but I'm not sure if it will. I'm hoping to get pregnant soon and see my doctor soon. I'm not sure if it's working, but it has its benefits. If you've tried other brands, you're going to need to use this again.
